Dr. Viroon’s research expertise includes Geo-Environmental Engineering, Soil-Bioengineering and Ground Improvement. These research has been supported by funding from public and industrial organisations, such as Thailand Research Fund, and various overseas, including the Research Grants Council in Hong Kong and Scottish Government. He also has strong track records of academic-industrial collaboration and participated in oversea infrastructure projects. He is currently a committee member for Thai Geotechnical society, International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering, etc.
