RESEARCH LABORATORIES
Introduction :
Education and research laboratories of Civil Engineering Department at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang has been found to support education for basic study and high research for postgraduate level. Laboratories were arranged basically on civil engineering disciplines i.e. structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, water resources engineering, transportation engineering, and survey engineering. The department divides research categories into 7 laboratories as follows:
The department was supported for the research equipments and facilities in both basic laboratories and advance research for graduate students. At present, the laboratories are fully equipped with modern facilities and machines to meet international standards requirements at high level, accommodating most of laboratory and field testing.
In addition, our laboratories were not only constituted for basic study and research for the department but also found for social services to outside organization such as destructive and non-destructive testing to analyze engineering properties of materials at both in laboratories and in field, consulting and design service to find the solution and recommendation for engineering practice, training course in the fields of civil engineering, etc.
ห้องปฏิบัติการและวิจัยของภาควิชาวิศวกรรมโยธา สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบัง จัดตั้งขึ้นเพื่อสนับสนุนการเรียนการสอนในระดับพื้นฐาน และเพื่อการวิจัยในระดับสูง ได้จัดและแบ่งออกตามหมวดสาขาหลักของวิศวกรรมโยธา เช่นสาขาวิศวกรรมปฐพี วิศวกรรมโครงสร้าง วิศวกรรมแหล่งน้ำ วิศวกรรมขนส่ง วิศวกรรมสำรวจ โดยแบ่งออกเป็นห้องปฏิบัติการและวิจัยต่างๆ ดังรายการด้านบน
ทางภาควิชามีเครื่องมืออุปกรณ์ในห้องปฏิบัติการณ์ต่างๆ ที่ทันสมัย ทั้งในส่วนของปฏิบัติการณ์ พื้นฐานเพื่อการเรียนการสอนในระดับปริญญาตรี และเพื่อการวิจัยในระดับสูง ห้องปฏิบัติการและวิจัยต่างๆ ของทางภาควิชาวิศวกรรมโยธา นอกจากจะมีไว้เพื่อการเรียน การสอน และการวิจัยแล้ว ยังมีเพื่อบริการหน่วยงานภายนอกอีกด้วย เช่น บริการทดสอบคุณสมบัติของวัสดุทางวิศวกรรมต่างๆ ทั้งในห้องปฏิบัติการและการทดสอบในสนาม บริการตรวจสอบโครงสร้าง ข้อแนะนำในการออกแบบพร้อมข้อแก้ไข บริการเผยแพร่ความรู้ในการใช้เครื่องมืออุปกรณ์ทดสอบ เป็นต้น
